About

Built for a real ride, not a demo reel.

Moments Studio started with one rider who was tired of losing an evening to a memory card.

Alan rides with a GoPro. After a good day out, the camera has gigabytes of video: long straights, coffee stops, the bits nobody wants to watch twice. What he wanted was simple: a short reel or a YouTube cut he could send to friends. What he got was hours of scrubbing timelines, guessing where the bends were, and exporting something that still felt like homework.

That friction is the product brief. Moments Studio is the desktop editor Alan wished he had: point it at a folder of GoPro chapters, read the telemetry (GPS, lean, braking), propose the moments that matter, and export 16:9 or 9:16 with a moving map baked in. The footage stays on your computer until you choose to share.

Alan also built FollowMy.Bike ↗ , the free phone app for live ride tracking and sharing. The longer story of why that app exists is on FollowMy.Bike; more about Alan is at alan.is ↗ .

The goal is not another timeline full of knobs. It is less time wading through the ride, and more time riding the next one.
